At Lisburn Physio we treat runners of all ages and abilities. Whether you are training for a marathon or starting a Couch to 5km programme we are able to help. Over the years we have seen TWO common trends in relation as to when injury strikes.
Usually, within the last month before race day, we get a call from a distraught and panicking patient who has developed an injury towards the end of their weekend “long run”. Their training has been going well up until they attempt their first 18 miler!
