Iain Getty is our Practice Principal. He graduated from the University of Ulster in 1989. After working in the NHS he founded Lisburn Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in 1992. Iain worked with the Ulster and Irish Hockey teams in the early 1990’s, and has built up a reputation in the field of sports and spinal injuries. He moved the practice to its current location in 2004, and has seen the clinic grow into Lisburn’s leading physiotherapy practice.
What people say about Iain…
When I have an injury I like to know that the Physio looking after me understands that Triathlon is one sport which encompasses three others and as such is not just the same as treating a runner or a swimmer. The treatment and advice for cure and prevention that Iain and his team offer has been invaluable to me and many of my Club mates.
Iain has helped me through every event from 10K to Ironman and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Iain and his team to anyone seeking treatment and advice, but especially to the growing number of Triathletes out there who know that three sports in one needs a tailored approach.
